Termite control, 24 hours a day

Termites in the house? Get a local pro on the phone.

Mud tubes up the foundation, trim that sounds hollow, a pile of wings on the sill. Tell us what you are seeing and we put you through to a termite company near you — most can inspect the same or next day.

Calls may be recorded and connected to a service provider. How it works

Termite technician treating along the foundation of a suburban home
  • Real person answers, day or night
  • Same/next day appointments in most areas
  • Price agreed before work begins
  • Nationwide network of local termite companies

How this works

  1. You call and describe it

Someone picks up, day or night, asks what you are seeing and where you are, then finds a termite company that covers your area.

  2. They call you back or come out

The company confirms the visit window and the price with you first. Same or next day in most areas.

  3. Inspection, treatment, follow-up

They confirm what is active, treat it, and set up whatever monitoring or re-treatment the method needs.

Before you hire anyone

Four things worth asking

Any competent termite company will answer all of these without hesitating. If one will not, that tells you something useful.

  • What is your state registration number?Termite work is regulated state by state. Ask for the number and check it with the state board yourself.
  • Which method are you quoting, and why?A liquid soil barrier, a monitored bait system and fumigation solve different problems and cost very different amounts. Ask why this one fits your house.
  • What does the warranty actually cover?Re-treatment only, or damage repair too? Ask what the renewal costs, how long it runs and what voids it.
  • Can I have the plan and the price in writing? Before the work, not after. Get the method, the number of visits and the total on paper.

What it costs

Every company sets its own prices and they vary a lot by region, construction type and how far the termites have got. There is no honest single figure to publish. What there is: the shapes a termite job takes, and what pushes the number up.

Inspection

A full check of the foundation, crawl space, attic and accessible timber, with the findings explained to you. Some companies fold the fee into the treatment if you go ahead.

Treatment

Usually priced on linear feet of foundation for a liquid barrier, or on the number of stations for a bait system. Drywood work is priced per area treated, or per structure if it is tented.

Ongoing cover

Most treatments come with an annual inspection and a renewal fee that keeps the warranty alive. Ask what the renewal costs before you sign, not a year later.

What moves it

  • Subterranean or drywood termites
  • Linear feet of foundation, and how much of it is accessible
  • Slab, crawl space or basement construction
  • A monitored bait system versus a liquid barrier
  • Whether any structural timber needs repairing

What people ask us first

Who do I call about termites near me?

Call (833) 784-1375. We find a termite company in your area and put you through, which saves ringing round five companies to find who picks up.

Does the call cost anything?

No, and there is no obligation. You pay the company only if you book work with them, at the price they agree with you first.

How fast can someone look at it?

Often the same or next day, depending on your area and the time of day. The company confirms the window with you on the call.

Termites or flying ants?

Termites have straight antennae, a thick waist and four wings of equal length. Ants have bent antennae, a pinched waist and unequal wings. Mud tubes on the foundation mean termites. If you are not sure, keep a few in a jar for the inspector.

Who actually turns up?

An independent local termite company. They work under their own credentials and insurance, and they quote and carry out the job themselves. Ask them for registration details, the products they plan to use and the warranty terms — see what to ask.

Should I break open a mud tube to check?

Better not to. The inspector needs to see live tubes to confirm activity and trace the entry point. Leave the damaged timber alone too, and photograph anything you have already disturbed.
